The real work doesn’t begin for me until after New Years, but today is my first full day in Vienna for a grant administered by the nice folks at Fulbright Austria. I’ll be teaching two MA seminars at the Diplomatische Akademie Wien (who are also nice folks!): “Digital Culture and Technology” in the upcoming trimester, and then “Politics of Popular Culture” in the following trimester. I’m excited to be here . . . and expect that feeling to grow after I get over my jet lag and have a chance to settle in properly.
