Here’s a selection of almost random images from my first week in Vienna.

Readers who want explanations for all of these will be disappointed. But I will note that the nice folks at the Diplomatische Akademie Wien are letting me stay in an apartment that is roughly twice the size of my space in Minneapolis (I’ve never had a sitting room of my own before!) . . . that Blanton’s is nearly impossible to find in the US . . . and that if I find myself desperate for a taste of Minneapolis on this side of the Big Pond, one of Vienna’s best craft beer bars has a Juicy[sic] Lucy on the menu. I may never leave.
